Verse two tells the listener that no matter what they have done in the past, “…There’s still hope if you’ll decide to serve the Lord.” The third verse expresses commitment with the words “…living only for our King, we will give Him ev’rything. Now committed we will stand with Christ our Lord.” Surrounding these verses the rousing chorus rings out, “As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.
