Esther Stone is passionate about serving the Lord through the ministry of NorthJoy Music Inc. Esther graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music with an ARCT diploma in Piano Performance. She completed her Grade 10 RCM voice certificate and studied violin through the Grade 9 RCM level. Esther played violin with the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra for two years.
Esther is an accomplished accompanist and in addition to her accompaniment work with the Almaguin Choral Society (a 60 voice community choir) from 2015-2020, Esther has frequently accompanied various music students for recitals, music examinations, and festival competitions. She also has many years experience as a church pianist. As an experienced piano, violin, and voice teacher, Esther loves to creatively style each music lesson and is always seeking ways to help her students further develop their musical skills and knowledge. Esther is an avid composer and arranger. She was commissioned several times by the Almaguin Choral Society and as a result composed two Christmas cantatas for them as well as a couple individual choral pieces. Esther is passionate about creating new musical compositions and arrangements to be used in ministry. In 2010, Esther started NorthJoy Music, Inc. as a tool to make that music available to others. Along with her husband Joshua, Esther lives in Parry Sound, ON where Joshua serves as pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church. Esther and her husband have four children, Samuel (March 2017), Eleanor (September 2018), Guinevere (June 2020) and Owen (January 2022). In addition to her work with NorthJoy Music and The Wilson Sisters, Esther loves to spend time with her family and friends.
